A beautiful and unforgettable day

 August 22, 2024 is the day that a big dream I had in mind since I started studying dance came true. I have been learning dance since I was about four years old. But I started learning dance formally when I was ten years old. From that time until I was twenty years old. I studies Kandyan dance thoroughly for ten years. As a result of that learning, I realized my dream. That was to wear headers.


The day I wore the headers was a beautiful day in my life. Along with me, many of my friends realized their dreams that day. We ritually wore the headers on our heads and displayed our skills in front of our parents, teachers, friends and relatives. By the end of that day, I felt an indescribable joy. Because I had worked so hard for that joy. I had practiced so much. That's why I was able to make that day a beautiful day.


I was able to make my dream come true beautifully because of my teachers. And the biggest strength for my dream was my mother and father. So with the help and guidance of all of these teachers. I was able to make August 22, 2024, a beautiful day that I will never forget. 


I hope that everyone who dreams like me will be able to realize that beautiful dream soon.

My pet

     I have a pet dog. His name is Tommy. He is small. His color is Black and White. He has bright eyes. Tommy is very friendly and playful.      Every morning, I give him food and water. He likes to eat rice, meat and biscuits. I play with him in the garden. He runs fast and loves to chase a ball. Tommy is very clever. He understands simple words and follows me every where. He also guards our house at night.      I love my pet very much because he is my best friend. He makes me happy every day.
