 The book " Madol Duwa" which is among the beautiful memories of the past, is a very beautiful  book that I read when I was a child. I think this story, written by Martin Wickramasinghe is an unforgettable story in Sinhala literature. This story revolves around Upali and his friend Jinna. The book Madol Duwa describe the heroic deeds of two mischievous boys who strive to break free from the traditional framework and live freely in a beautiful environment in the southern province outside Colombo.    I think Upali's character, who find this own world without being trapped by the rules of adults is relatable to any child. I think their attempt to escape from home and cultivate the isolated island of Madol Duwa is very practical. Also, the friendship between Upali and Jinna regardless of caste or status is very beautiful.   The moon is not just something in the sky. It is a celestial body that is gravitationally bound to our Earth. It is also a natural satellite.   The moon travels around the Earth its white light adding beauty to the night. Everyone big and small loves to look at the moon. It makes their hearts feel happy. Sometimes the moon looks completely round. Other times it look like a weeping moon. The moon does not produce its own light. The moon gets its light from the sun. The moon takes about 27 days to orbit the Earth. Its gravitational force is what causes waves in the sea. The moon is likes a silent King among the stars in the sky.

  What I call a universal Key here is a language. Because that language can win us over to the world. So that language is English. Today, English is not just another language. It is like a universal key that can open any door in the world. Currently, most of the books, research reports and information available on the Internet in the world are in English. Therefore if we Know English we can instantly acquire new knowledge about the world. Not only that for someone who is employed or looking for a job, the English language provides great value in securing foreign job opportunities, advancing to high paying position and dealing with international companies. It also helps us to understand different cultures and see the world with a broader perspective. Being able to speak a new language can even boost our self confidence. Learning English is not about forgetting your mother tongue. It is about giving our talents "   Golden wings" with which we can fly all over the world. 

  Music is an experience that must be experienced from the heart deep and deep beyond words. Even though there are different countries, different races and different language in the world music is the only power that can transcend all boundaries and bind the entire universe with one thread. 🎵  In ordinary language we need words to express ideas. But music doesn't neat words. The delicate melody of a violin or the melodious sound of a flute can bring a tear to someone's eye or a smile to their face. anywhere in the world. It is a direct conversation from soul to soul. Music can control our emotions Music can recreate the sorrow, love, devotion and joy in our hearts within seven notes. So where words end music begins.  Music is a bridge that relieves the suffering of the human heart and takes the mind to a higher level. Those melodious tones can bring the entire world to a place of humanity, regardless of race, religion or casts. That is why music is a divine language.🎶

  The most beautiful chapter I write in the book of life is my friends.  Even if we are not relate by blood there is a brotherhood between us that is bound by our hearts. That promise that we will be there in any difficult moment is very precious to me. Every second we spend together is a treasure throve of memories. Those moments where we laugh out loud at meaningless things and live in our own words freely are so beautiful. Time doesn't seem to pass when we're all together. They are always by my side like true shadows that never leave my path both in the sun and in the dark. Only my friends know me for who I am. Only my friends accept me for who I am. So this is a bond that cannot be described in words. So they are a valuable gift and a great blessing in my life.

  Among the great cultural heritages that enrich the Hela Kalaketha, I love the Gataberaya t he most. I really like playing the Gataberaya. Gataberaya can be called the lifeblood of the Kandyan dance tradition. This is not just a instrument, but a symbol of our pride. The rhythm of the Gataberaya adds a strange energy to my life. I cannot describe in words the mental satisfaction. I get from playing it with perfect control of the letter patterns of the " Thath, Jith, Thon, Nan". Because of Gataberaya I was able to secure third place in the Northwestern Provincial Level Solo Female "Magulbera" playing competition at the 2023 All Ceylon School Dance Competition. The victory is an unforgettable achievement in my school life. Because I wasn't very good at playing the Gataberaya. But I am happy to have achieved such an achievement through the training I received in a short period of time.    My future hope is to further develop the art of Gataberaya and take our loca...

  The sky is heavy with gray clouds and our lives are a slowed down for a while. The rhythmic raindrops falling on the window sills are like the music of nature. Breathing in the new scent emerging from the parched earth feels wonderfully refreshing. The green of the trees and vines appears to be shining brighter than usual. Looking out the window through the steam of a hot cup of coffee is like forgetting the world for a moment. The whole city looks like a painting as people carry umbrellas along the streets, cars drive through puddles and rain soaked birds flap their wing.  The way I see it rain is a blessing that brings freedom to the mind, coolness to the body and new life to the world.💦

  My favorite dance tradition is the Kandyan dance tradition. The dance tradition that I have been learning since I was a child is the Kandyan dance. Kandyan dance is a local dance tradition that has a very proud history and reflects the identity of Sri Lanka.   The Kandyan dance tradition has been nurtured since ancient times and has developed as an artistic element. There as 18 Vannam in the Kandyan dance tradition and the main instrument is the Gataberaya. Also the main costume here is the Ves Aduma. This costume in particular is very artistic. Although Kandyan dance began as a dance mainly based on men, it has now been bestowed upon women as well. As a result we also learn this dance today. Another special thing is that this dance tradition is the main and most beautiful dance element that can be seen in the Kandy Esala Perahera. I would like to call my favorite Kandyan dance tradition one of the most disciplined dance traditions recognized in the world.

  My favorite actor is Jackson Anthony. He is one of the most talented and experienced artists in the Sri Lankan field of art.. He has left many unforgettable memories among the audience in this country not only through acting but also through singing, directing, screenwriting and exploratory programs. He excelled in both stage and cinema and became more popular due to his unique voice control and high level acting style. The film "Aba" directed by him was a creation that brought about a huge revolution in the cinema of Sri Lanka. In addition a number of great films such as Suriya Arana, Bawa Duka, Udumbara, Garasarapa, Dadaima, Dharmayuddaya- 1 are milestones in his acting career. He shared his Knowledge of history with the society through programs such as " Maha sinhala wansakathawa", which were created due to his keen interest in history and culture.
