 Today, social media is like a digital universe that is indispensable to our lives. That's why I like to call social media a "digital universe".


Social media is a digital apace that allows people to connect with each other, share information and express opinion using the internet. Here you can instantly communicate with anyone anywhere in the world. Features such as information sharing, live communication and entertainment can be found in social media. Popular social media can be called Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram.


There is a bright side and a dark side to social media. The bright side of social media is that it allows you to quickly get the latest information about the world, learn educational facts and new things and promote business activities. The dark side is that addiction can lead to time wasting, the spread of false information, privacy violation and the introduction of cybercrime.

So whether we view the world accurately through this digital universe or whether we get lost in the digital universe itself depends on our intelligent use.

My pet

     I have a pet dog. His name is Tommy. He is small. His color is Black and White. He has bright eyes. Tommy is very friendly and playful.      Every morning, I give him food and water. He likes to eat rice, meat and biscuits. I play with him in the garden. He runs fast and loves to chase a ball. Tommy is very clever. He understands simple words and follows me every where. He also guards our house at night.      I love my pet very much because he is my best friend. He makes me happy every day.

A beautiful and unforgettable day

  August 22, 2024 is the day that a big dream I had in mind since I started studying dance came true. I have been learning dance since I was about four years old. But I started learning dance formally when I was ten years old. From that time until I was twenty years old. I studies Kandyan dance thoroughly for ten years. As a result of that learning, I realized my dream. That was to wear headers. The day I wore the headers was a beautiful day in my life. Along with me, many of my friends realized their dreams that day. We ritually wore the headers on our heads and displayed our skills in front of our parents, teachers, friends and relatives.
