My Turning Point

 My school is my turning point. I am very proud of my school which is a great institution that is advancing the field of education in the Northwestern province. It is an unforgettable place that taught me skills and discipline.



Isipathana National School Bamunakotuwa is my school. I studied at my school from the time I entered grade1 until I left grade13. School is a lamppost that helped illuminate my life. So wen I hear the name Isipathana I feel grade respect.

My school which nurtures the minds of thousands of children in the area acts as a pioneer in creating a virtuous society. The greatest asset in my school is the teachers who strive to correct the mistakes of our children and release them bravely into the future world. My school has a beautiful and healthy environment that allows children to think freely and hone their skills. My school also has a great reputation in term of extracurricular activities and sports.

My school is my pride it equipped my life with the virtues that guided me to write.

My pet

     I have a pet dog. His name is Tommy. He is small. His color is Black and White. He has bright eyes. Tommy is very friendly and playful.      Every morning, I give him food and water. He likes to eat rice, meat and biscuits. I play with him in the garden. He runs fast and loves to chase a ball. Tommy is very clever. He understands simple words and follows me every where. He also guards our house at night.      I love my pet very much because he is my best friend. He makes me happy every day.

A beautiful and unforgettable day

  August 22, 2024 is the day that a big dream I had in mind since I started studying dance came true. I have been learning dance since I was about four years old. But I started learning dance formally when I was ten years old. From that time until I was twenty years old. I studies Kandyan dance thoroughly for ten years. As a result of that learning, I realized my dream. That was to wear headers. The day I wore the headers was a beautiful day in my life. Along with me, many of my friends realized their dreams that day. We ritually wore the headers on our heads and displayed our skills in front of our parents, teachers, friends and relatives.
